Diamond & Once In A Blue Moo by Moo Moo Signatures

Hi everyone! It is a long weekend over here in Singapore as we are celebrating our 50th year of independence!

Today I am very excited to share with you a new to me brand by Moo Moo Signatures though I am not unfamiliar with its creator. She is none other than the owner of Mei Mei Signatures.

Other than being a stockist for a wide range of indie polish brands she actually has a full time job and now she has ventured in to needle felting and making her own brand of polishes! And not forgetting she has a life outside of all those mayhem too! Sometimes I suspect she is not a human but actually a supersonic machine. I simply cannot comprehend how she does all that. I started buying nail polishes from her when I started my addiction a few years ago and she has the most impeccable customer service which I have mentioned a couple of times before! Through all that I have been fortunate to become great friends with her!

Let’s move on to the pretty stuff shall we?

Diamond which I have on my ring fingernail is described as an ultra strong silver holographic polish accented with sterling silver micro silver flakies and small amount of tiny green and red flakies. Application was a cinch and covered my nail beautifully in two coats. I don’t usually buy silver holographic polish these days as there are just too many variations out there but this is just so sparkly and flattering on the nails! I added the blue star studs to amp up the look more. I do have to apologies that I did not manage to capture it as beautifully as it actually is.

Next we have Once In A Blue Moo that just took my breath away! It is an insanely gorgeous blurple (blue & purple mix) crelly base with colour shifting tiny purple and green flakies. It was a very saturated, opaque and a dream to apply. This was said to be a one coater but it is rare that a polish could be one coater on my big nail bed. The only advise I would give is to apply less strokes on the same area to avoid dragging and creating bald spots as it dried pretty fast. No fault on its formula at all but just a better technic to apply this. I used two coats with topcoat on the rest of my fingernails. Btw this looks great without topcoat too creating a suede like effect.onceinabluemoo(5)onceinabluemoo(4)onceinabluemooonceinabluemoo(6)onceinabluemoo(1)onceinabluemoo(7)onceinabluemoo(3)onceinabluemoo(8)

Mei Mei knows what she is doing and she does it with perfection on these. I absolutely love both of them but Once In A Blue Moo just took my breath away a million times more! Great job my dear friend!

Mei Mei told me that the current version of Diamond has gone in to remission but a new rendition is coming soon! So do look out for that as I am sure it will be just as gorgeous!

You can purchase Moo Moo Signatures’ polishes (Big 3 Free) and if you are in to needle felting don’t forget to check out her Moo Moo too (they are cute as a button!) over HERE.

Rave by Jindie Nails

Hello folks! Merry Christmas to everyone! Hope everyone had a great Christmas or still having an extended celebration? I had a great time with my family and the extended family as usual. Maybe I ate and had too much fun that I came down with a fever and sore throat yesterday. If that is so I’d say it was worth it!

Today I am going to show you an oldies from Jindie Nails. I was digging through my stash and found that I’ve left this untouched for so long.

Rave is a white crelly base with magenta, blue, neon green, yellow hex and round glitters. The formula is a little on the sheer side and it required 4 coats for my nail length. I like the fact that the glitters were not buried despite using 4 coats. It was also self levelling.rave by jindie nailsrave by jindie nails(1)rave by jindie nails(2)rave by jindie nails(3)rave by jindie nails(4)

If I’ll be honest I am less incline to use glitters polishes these days due to the removal process but I’m glad that I revisited this again. It is very pretty on the nails and it reminded me why I loved it so much in the first place and I have tons of polishes like these in my stash… untouched still!

You can still find Rave at Jindie Nails and Mei Mei Signatures. Otherwise check at these Authorized Distributors

Glam Polish Bubble Breeze

Happy weekend everyone! Sorry we have been out of action for a short bit but today I’m back with a gorgeous Glam Polish colour to show you.

This is Bubble Breeze. It is a crelly aqua blue base with blue and silver hex and dot glitters in various sizes. The formula was a little thin and sheer but I am happy to report that no fishing was needed. You can certainly wear this on its own but you will probably need at least 3 coats to cover up the visible nail line. I chose to use 1 coat over 2 coats of Essence Let’s Get Lost and a coat of topcoat.glam polish bubble breezeglam polish bubble breeze(1)glam polish bubble breeze(2)glam polish bubble breeze(3)glam polish bubble breeze(4)

I really love that it is so sparkly and complimented against my skin tone. Thumbs up for sure!

Unfortunately this has been discontinued. I don’t mean to tease you with a gorgeous colour but Glam Polish has a lot of other beautiful creations and I am sure your head will get dizzy with the galore choices at her store or over at her international stockist.

Barbie’s Nightmare by Jindie Nails

How is everyone doing on a fine Sunday? Great I hope? My weekend has so far been good, did a little spring cleaning in my bedroom and was babysitting my little nephew yesterday.

If you have been following or have purchased from Mei Mei Signatures you would have noticed that she has quite a few Jindie Nails’ polishes exclusively to her store. Other than Sexy Barbie and Barbie Is Dreaming, adding on to the list of exclusive is Barbie’s Nightmare.

Barbie’s Nightmare contains neon pink and black square glitters, red and black star glitters, black moon glitters, and black and silver round glitters suspended in a white crelly base. The consistency was great but I did a bit of fishing for the glitters. And I did notice there were some tiny irregular shaped black and red glitters that didn’t seem to belong. I suspected that these were chipped away from the regular glitters. I used 4 coats and one layer of topcoat for the photos.barbiesnightmarebarbiesnightmare1barbiesnightmare2barbiesnightmare3

Though the consistency was great but I found myself getting a little frustrated with fishing for the glitters. Nonetheless this is a cute polish with a cuter name.

This is exclusively available for SGD$16 at Mei Mei Signatures.

I’m A Star Dot Com by Jindie Nails

Happy Sunday everyone! This week has been a meaningful week for me. Each year the company that I work for declare every September 11 a charity day. So all revenue that we made on this day will be donated to charities all over the world. This year worldwide collectively we have gathered 12 million US dollars and I am so proud to be part of this event. It is truly an honour to be able to make a small difference to people who are in need. Also I am very excited for the arrival of my new born nephew Ethan! I am sure he is going to be the “I’m a star dot com” in my family. Hehe.

Today I am featuring I’m A Star Dot Com by Jindie Nails. It is a white crelly base accented with black and silver stars glitters, black and magenta round glitters and silver hex glitters. This was a little sheer but I chose to wear 3 coats on its own, otherwise you can layer it over a white base for full on opacity. Topcoat was added.imastardotcomimastardotcom1imastardotcom3imastardotcom2

I bought this at Mei Mei Signatures. You can also find Jindie Nails’ polishes at the following online retailers:

Para-Para-Paradise By Black Cat Lacquer

It’s weekend again and the last day of August already. I can’t believe that Christmas will be just a few months away. Cliché it may sound but time really passes darn fast.

Today I have for you an exclusive shade to Mei Mei Signatures’ online store by Black Cat Lacquer, Para-para-paradise. It is a soft white crelly base suspended with mix of pink, purple, white and silver in hex, stars and round glitters. I didn’t have any issue with the formula and I loved that the crelly base wasn’t sticky. But I did find some really odd looking glitters that obviously do not belong, like it had broke from the regular glitters. You can see it from my thumb and middle nails. Though at two coats it wasn’t opaque enough, I didn’t want to coat a third as it may just made it all looked too overcrowding and thick. I kinda liked it this way.paraparaparadiseparaparaparadise1paraparaparadise2

This is exclusively available at Mei Mei Signatures and it retails for SGD$15. This was provided by Mei Mei Signatures for my honest review.

Jindie Nails Barbie Is Dreaming

A couple of weeks ago when Mei Mei Signatures asked if I like to review a new Jindie Nails exclusive shade for her store I gladly accepted. I present to you today Barbie Is Dreaming by Jindie Nails. It is a pale pink crelly with neon pink, neon green and white hex glitters, pink and gold round glitters and best of all it also contains white and purple stars. Lately I find myself liking a lot of round and stars glitters. As this was sent to me for review so it is a sample bottle with tiny brush therefore that’s the reason why I find myself having to do a bit of fishing and placement for the bigger glitters. But I am sure you do not need to fish and place the glitters with the bigger bottles. I used 3 coats and 1 thick coat of topcoat.

barbieisdreamingbarbieisdreaming1barbieisdreaming2

Overall I love this new exclusive shade. It is such a fun looking colour and the name is cute. Barbie Is Dreaming can only be purchase at Mei Mei Signatures and no where else! She ships worldwide.
