Miasma & Sparkleshell By Femme Fatale Cosmetics Swatch

Konbanwa! That’s good evening in Japanese. We are back from Japan! We had such a great time in Hokkaido and Tokyo, ate a lot and bought so much munchies back that we wished we didn’t have to come back! Haha. Anyway so sorry for the inactivity on our blog, the wifi connection at the hotels that we stayed was a little challenging hence I couldn’t post any swatches. Now that we are back it’s time to get back on track for swatches.

I have for you today two great creations by Femme Fatale Cosmetics, Miasma and Sparkleshell. I believe that these were released end of 2012 and beginning of 2013 respectively. Lately I have been on a mad crush with Aussie indie polish brands and Femme Fatale Cosmetics is definitely a favourite for me. Let’s move on to the swatches shall we?

Miasma is a deep purple creme with big black round glitters and smaller red and purple hex glitters. Extra attention may be needed when painting this as it was a little runny and thin and I used 3 coats on this. This was actually love at first sight for me and knew that I had to get it but somehow I am not feeling it on my nails, it just doesn’t work against my skin tone. On a funny note, my nails looked like they had moles! LOL!

Sparkleshell. Now this I love on a bottle and on my nails. It was best described by the creator as a pale ivory base with gold, brown and periwinkle hex glitters. This was 3 easy coats and no fishing was needed.sparkleshellsparkleshell1sparkleshell2

Out of these two my favourite has to be Sparkleshell, good formula and looked rather dainty on the nails. I was a little let down that Miasma didn’t work against my skin tone. Femme Fatale Cosmetics can be found at Femme FataleShoppe Eclecticco and Harlow & Co.
