Today is Earth Day! Happy Earth Day! In order to promote environmental awareness some Instagramers are hosting the event by posting green nails on Instagram. So if you are keen you can tag your green nails to #sgswatchfest on instagram. I will be doing so as well. 🙂
I am also very excited to share with you View From The Top Collection by Elevation Polish swatch. There are 5 colours in this collection but today I only have 3 of them to show you. I didn’t get all 5 from this collection as it is my first time trying Elevation Polish and didn’t know how they would fare. After swatching these I must say I will go back and get the rest of the collection!
First up, Jengish Chokusu. It was described perfectly by the creator as sea glass creme. This is not your usual mint green, this leans more green. I used 2 coats in the pictures and found no issue with it. Love!
Huangshan is a glitter topper with neon yellow hex and round glitters and iridescent glitters. This is my favourite of the bunch! It is a neon yellow, just look at that! This was 1 coat on top of 2 coat of BB Couture Clyde. It applied beautifully and no issue with formula. The creator did advise that the neon yellow glitters may fade in to the base over time. I did notice that my bottle is tinted a little yellow but it doesn’t bother me, in fact I like it this way better. I am so in love with this.
Haba Xueshan is another glitter topper of the collection. This reminded me of how I fell in love with indie polishes for the first time. I went crazy (as like for many) for similar polishes like Cover Band’s Sticks n Stones and Lynderally’s Connect The Dot. But this is an amp up version of those two. It is packed with the usual black and white glitters in different shape, what sets this apart is the pale blue round glitters! This is 1 coat on top of 2 coats of China Glaze Sunday Funday. Formula is great and applied easily. Love again.
This is my first time trying Elevation Polish and I must say I am in love and will go back and grab the rest of the collection to share with you. My absolute favourite of the 3 is Huangshan, it’s neon yellow glitters, how awesome is that? It is so bright that you can spot it from a distance and totally unique in my stash. I highly suspect that this is probably going to be one of my favourite glitter polish for 2013!
You can buy these at Elevation Polish.
