Happy weekend people! Hope it has been great? Anyway I have been bad and hauling a lot of indie polishes lately. My boyfriend said it is an addiction. Haha! Today I have some of Pretty Serious Cosmetics polishes to show you. Pretty Serious is an Australian indie maker and I like the fact that they put in some effort to create the cute packaging. I will show you the swatches in parts.
Seasonal Sunset is the one that I most looking forward to and it certainly didn’t disappoint. This is a rusty jelly based insanely packed with golden and copper flecks. Super sparkling and gorgeous! Somehow my pictures look a little bumpy but it is not at all in real life, it is super smooth and only needed two coats for opacity, dries very fast too.
Party By The Pool is described as a teal jelly base with green and blue fine glitters. This one is trouble for me. It is almost gel like, thick and yet sheer. And since this dries pretty fast it is even harder to get a smooth application. So disappointing as I really like the colour a lot. This is two coats with one coat of top coat.
Twinkling Lights is such an appropriate description. This is like the sky with dreamy sparkling stars. The fine aqua glitters and the bigger copper glitters contrast is simply pretty. I layered one coat of Twinkling Lights on top of two coats of China Glaze’s Splish Spash. Formula is great and dry time is fast.
My absolute favourites are Viscous Vampire and Seasonal Sunset. I hauled these at the lovely Mei Mei Signatures or you check them out at Pretty Serious Cosmetics. Do you like these swatches? If you do don’t forget to like us at our facebook page or you can check us out at our instagram page @thenailsquad. Stay tune next time for the rest of the swatches! Till then have a great sunday ahead. 🙂
